Privacy

No cookies.
No tracking.

This page exists to be read, not to be survived. It says what actually happens to your information, which in our case is very little.

The short version

Aone Decorations Ltd collects the details you type into the enquiry form, and nothing else. There is no analytics, no advertising network, no tracking pixel and no third-party script anywhere on this site. We do not set a single cookie.

Our app, Undertone, collects nothing at all: it has no account, makes no network requests, and everything it records stays on your own phone.

What this site collects

The enquiry form on the contact page asks for your name, your email address, and optionally your phone number, your property address and a description of the project. When you press send, those fields are posted to this site and recorded in our server log so that we can read and answer them. They are not passed to any analytics or marketing service.

If the connection fails, the form falls back to opening a pre-filled message in your own email client, which you then choose to send yourself. In that case nothing reaches us until you press send.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and request times, alongside the enquiries described above. We read them to answer you and to keep the site running, and we do not combine them with anything else.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, uses no local storage, and loads no third-party scripts. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you have not been shown a consent banner.

Web fonts are served from the same domain as the site itself, so no font provider learns that you visited.

What we do with your enquiry

We use it to answer you, to prepare a survey or a quotation, and to keep a record of the work if you appoint us. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for marketing. We share it with a third party only where the work requires it — for example a specialist supplier quoting a material for your project — and we tell you when that happens.

How long we keep it

An enquiry that does not become a project is deleted within twelve months. Records of completed work are kept for six years, which is the period during which a claim could still be brought under the contract and the period our insurers and HMRC expect us to be able to produce them.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Write to the address below and we will answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Our app

Undertone is entirely offline. It has no account and no login. It makes no network requests of any kind — not for content, not for analytics, not for crash reporting, not even for fonts. Its Android build ships without the INTERNET permission, which is the mechanical proof of that claim rather than a promise.

Everything the app records — your colour measurements, your rooms, your palettes, your scores — is written to files inside the app's own storage on your device. We never see it. It leaves your phone only if you deliberately export it and send it somewhere yourself. Deleting the app deletes all of it, and there is no copy anywhere else to ask us for.
