Every wall is mocked up on site before a single square metre is committed. We build up to seven coats where the specification calls for it, then burnish and seal so the surface reads as stone rather than paint.

We survey with a laser scanner, draw in 1:10, and cut on a CNC in our Bermondsey workshop. Nothing arrives flat-packed: units are dry-fitted, scribed to the room, then sprayed on site in a controlled booth.

Run-in-situ plaster cornice, ceiling roses and enrichments — matched to surviving Georgian and Victorian profiles.

We take a squeeze of the original profile, cut a zinc template, and run the cornice in lime putty on site. Where a run is lost entirely we draw it back from the room's proportions and the period's pattern books.

Hand-painted joinery, gilding, graining and eggshell work to a standard that survives close inspection.

Substrate preparation is where the finish is won: we fill, sand to 240 grit, and mist-coat before topcoats. Water gilding and oil gilding are carried out by a single hand across a project so the tone never shifts.
